Your Study in the USA Scholarship Winner: Karin Eriksson!

​We wouldn’t be who we are without our students — because of that, we hosted a drawing for students who shared their experiences about studying in the USA and offered a $1,000 scholarship to our winner.

We couldn’t be happier to announce that Karin Eriksson from Santa Barbara City College is the winner of our scholarship! Here’s her story:

“Study in the USA helped me provide a better picture of what my trip abroad would look like and what to expect during the process of obtaining my student visa and registering at a U.S. college. Because of the information I was provided with, I felt more comfortable and supported in my decision to go on this journey.

I have been doing great here in the U.S. despite the current situation with the Covid-19 pandemic as I have managed to stay healthy and thankfully have been able to keep my job that I have working as a barista on campus and have still been able to take a couple of in-person classes. Studying in the USA has given me the chance to experience new cultures and the chance to find lifelong friendships."
