☀️ Summertime Social Media Tips

7/27/2021

Looking for ideas to keep your social media audience interested and engaged this summer? We have tips!
  1. Run a contest. Ask students to share photos of themselves in their school shirts or gear. Then create story highlights and feature their pictures.
  2. Use a branded hashtag. Example: "#SchoolNameSummer2021" Encourage students, faculty, and the community to use it on social media.
  3. Promote the hashtag. Update your social media cover photos and website pics with summertime images and include the summer hashtag.
  4. Recycle or purpose. Don’t be afraid to re-use old content. Repurpose and post about anything that has happened on campus and is fun. Draw attention to spring events, performances, summer camps, or sports.
  5. Share content. Take the pressure off and share content instead of creating your own. Share posts from local businesses that may be offering tips and virtual experiences for families during the summer.

“StudyUSA provided me with critical information that I needed to know to better prepare for my studies in the United States. Whenever I used my search engine to look for information or regulations related to being an international student, I often found myself reading the information provided in the StudyUSA website. Occasionally, StudyUSA's posts on FB or Instagram also informed me of opportunities that I might not have known if it weren't for StudyUSA.”
—Current student at a community college in the U.S.
