What inspired you to work in this field? I love being able to make an impact on young people’s lives. I also think that it is so important for people to interact and meet people from all over the world. Having this opportunity to engage with people who are different from ourselves is the best way to promote, and ultimately to initiate, global understanding and peace.
What are the challenges you've faced? In international education, it is important to stay on top of everything that is happening around the world and constantly be learning. This can be a challenge as the world is a very large place, but it is also an exciting opportunity!
What do you hope to achieve in the future? I hope to achieve a more diverse international population on our campus that allows both the international students coming to our campus as well as our domestic students to have enriching experiences that will forever shape their lives.
If you can give 1 or 2 pieces of advice to our prospective international students, what would it be?
